FAIR WEAR FOUNDATION Member

PYUA has achieved leadership status and the highest status among the member brands at the FAIR WEAR FOUNDATION!

2018 FWF PYUA assesses PYUA as a brand and the efforts of a fair supply chain, as well as the improvement of production conditions in textile production with a benchmark score of 75%!

PYUA monitored 100% of its supply chain and achieved an overall performance benchmarking score of 75 points, resulting in the category "Leader".

Mobility & MADE IN EUROPE:

Due to the production locations in Europe, travel activity in procurement is already much less intensive than for companies with locations in Asia. In principle, the trips are combined so that all suppliers in a region are always travelled together and not individually. As far as reasonable, rail is used as the preferred means of travel for all departments, including management.

  • PYUA also assumes social responsibility in the immediate environment: Usable development samples are donated to the local homeless aid organisation (Hempels e.V.).
  • The partnerships between PYUA and suppliers also have a social impact, as long-term planning also means social security and optimisation of working hours for employees.
  • All dimensions of sustainability also play a role in production. However, the focus is on compliance with social standards.



The professional implementation of the above-mentioned steps within the framework of economically sensible planning is currently probably the greatest challenge. Today it is possible for PYUA to offer ecologically and socially manufactured clothing of the highest quality and performance. This has already been rewarded several times by independent platforms:
